Black Friday Shopping During a Pandemic
Share
Black Friday is the biggest shopping holiday of the year, and it marks the beginning of the holiday rush (check our blog on Christmas steals for teens!) Over the last few years approximately 80-90 million people go shopping in-stores on Black Friday. So how will that match up with the pandemic and all of their restrictions? Here are a few ways to help you win and stay Covid-Free during Black Friday 2020!
Many retail stores plan on making adjustments to combat the virus and the immense crowds. Expect these strict changes and rules:
-
Capacity controls. Only a certain number of people will be allowed in the stores at once. Get there first, or be ready for very long lines!
-
Sales all month long. Stores will not just have steals one night. They will have sales all month long to limit the craze for serious Black Friday shoppers. Don’t sweat getting there at 5 AM, you have all month!
-
Another answer for the pandemic restrictions for shopping is reserving time slots to shop. You can even put money down to reserve time that transfers to credit at checkout. How easy is that?
-
Online sales. Let’s be real. It is just so much easier. You don’t even have to leave your couch to save hundreds this holiday season! Curbside pick-up is always a great way to get your orders quicker than usual
Speaking of online sales, do not miss out on Sacksy Thyme's early black friday sales which start in November 25th. Get any of their Premium Therapy Sacks for 20% off and a special gift with purchases over $50. This year’s Black Friday will be different, but in order to find some steals for the holidays and stay safe, be prepared for all of the above!
